Password Home Security System
This project implements a secure home entrance access control system for a smart home using a microcontroller and external input/output devices. A 4×4 matrix keypad allows users to create, store, and verify passwords, while LEDs provide real-time visual feedback for system states. Users can record a password, lock the system, and authenticate access through a structured input sequence. Successful authentication activates a green LED, while failed attempts trigger a red LED. After three consecutive incorrect entries, an alarm is activated and can be reset using a dedicated hardware button. The system is built using a Nucleo L476RG development board, external LEDs, a keypad encoder IC, and supporting passive components, with a maximum supported password length of ten digits.
